Who we are

About MovieSteem

A movie club with opinions. The Esteemed Movie Council watches, rates and stamps films and series so you can pick what to watch tonight.

What we do

Every title on MovieSteem is watched and judged by the Council. Each one earns a seal: Verified (a must-see), Approved (we stand behind it), or no seal at all when we passed. Verdicts and ratings are our own opinion, written by us, not copied from reviewers or scraped from other sites.

What you will find

• Tonight: four taps to a pick that fits your mood.
• Verdicts, Verified, Approved and Unstamped libraries.
• The Screening Room, with every trailer in one place.
• Brackets, face-offs and the Daily Quote, where you vote alongside the Council.

Where the data comes from

Posters, cast and basic film details come from TMDB. Trailers play from YouTube. Seals, scores, verdicts and the rankings are the Council’s own.
